A Day in the Life of a Graduate ...

... Meet Claire

Claire joined the Platinum Program in February 2008 - being a new Graduate to Roche she rotates throughout the pharmaceutical business over an 18 month period.

Read about Claire’s experiences so far.

“The Roche Platinum Graduate Program is structured with a number of rotations across different areas of the business. So far I’ve completed one major rotation in Human Resources and am currently in my Medical Marketing rotation.

Work as a graduate is very dynamic, often I am working on a variety of different projects and managing my time around these project priorities. Some of the projects I’ve worked on include preparing for a “Medical Thought Leader" round table and conducting an internal review based on industry best practice.

As a graduate you also have the opportunity to work with and meet people external to Roche. For example I’ve been involved with the establishment of a clinical trial and conducting site feasibility meetings with doctors and nurses. In my Human Resources rotation I was part of a team that selected a new preferred supplier for the recruitment team.

Another aspect of the graduate program is the ongoing support for personal and professional development. This means some of my time at work is spent completing a Medicines Australia Continuing Education Program, attending training and regular coaching sessions”.
