Meet our Graduates
Rachel P.
What is your background - what did you study?
Bachelor Liberal Studies (Psychology, Indonesian, Asian Studies)
Master of Commerce (International Business)
What attracted you to the Roche graduate program?
I'd heard Roche was a great place to work (it is!)
- I liked the diversity offered in the program. Time in differing departments, across the business really appealed to me. It conveyed to me that Roche was a company that valued diversity, well rounded employees, and those with an understanding of the bigger picture.
- The people I met at Roche once I started the recruitment process. The energy and passion of these people was evident, and I found this incredibly motivating. I felt strongly that Roche was somewhere I'd fit in.
- The career prospects the program offered. This was incredibly important to me. I wanted to find a job at a company where my ambition was valued and I had the opportunity to develop myself and pursue my career goals.
What rotation did you enjoy the most and why?
Definitely marketing. It was the area I was most interested in and where my career aspirations lay. I also spent the most amount of time in this department, which coupled with a fantastic manager, meant I was able to take on meaty projects that gave me relevant experience across the majority of key brand manager accountabilities, and also across brands. My time in this department, the specific experiences I gained, and the relationships I formed had a huge impact on the success I had in finding a marketing role after the completion of the Graduate Program and my time in sales.

There are many great things about working at Roche, however I'd have to say my number one is the people. These people have kept me motivated and ensured life at Roche is always interesting…and often very entertaining!
