The incumbents in this position must be knowledgeable and up to date with latest scientific discoveries and data in their area of expertise. They attend scientific conferences, organize continuing education events and advisory boards of health care professionals; plan the Phase IV clinical trials and diagnostic programs and publishing strategy as well as advise for funding decisions.
