Drug Safety

Drug Safety is the function that collects, processes and reports to the Health Authority data regarding adverse events to marketed and investigational Roche products. As adverse event information is received from numerous sources, Drug Safety staff interact with a variety of individuals including health care professionals, consumers, Health Authorities and other internal Roche personnel. The local Drug Safety Department is part of a larger global unit and Drug Safety staff liaise very closely with global counterparts to ensure the appropriate management and distribution of information globally and within regulatory timelines. With a high volume of information flowing through the department, skills important in Drug Safety include organization, efficient time management, attention to detail and the abilities to multitask and work well in a team environment.
