Drug Information
Drug Information is the function that provides answers to questions about Roche drugs received verbally via telephone or electronically through e-mail or the internet from health care professionals (doctors, pharmacists, nurses), consumers or patients, and company sales representatives . Drug Information is staffed predominately with experienced pharmacists. Individuals with backgrounds in the medical sciences may also be qualified to be trained for this department. Drug Information staff are required to be very good communicators and must have an in-depth understanding of drugs and diseases in multiple therapeutic areas. Incumbents in Drug Information must excel at literature searching and have the ability to read, understand, and summarize highly scientific and medical publications. Individuals in Drug Information for the most part work alone but are also required to participate and contribute on teams.
