Your application
Congratulations on your decision to apply for a position at our great company!
The first thing to do now is perform a search for jobs that matches your skills and interests. You can use the search engine on the right of the page where you can search by functional area, job type, location, key word, or Job.
Once you have found a job opening apply online and upload your resume. (Alternatively, you can submit an unsolicited application. The procedure is the same in both cases.)
The first thing you need to do is to register to our Roche Talent Pool. This will allow you to log in again later to edit your profile or to apply to another position. Unfortunately at this point you are not able to see the status of your application when logged in.
After this there will be five steps to finish your application. The whole process can take approximately 15 minutes.
2. State your contact details.
3. Provide more information on your educational background and work experience.
4. Then you will be prompted some questions referring to the specific vacancy you're interested in. (If you apply unsolicited, you may just say so using this space.)
5. As a final step you will get a summary of the information you have given. If you wish to modify parts of it, click "Edit" next to the relevant section.
To finalize your application, click “Submit”. Your application will be received by the recruiter responsible for the vacancy. It is very important to finish this step, otherwise your application will not be complete.

To make it easier for us to determine where you might best fit within our organization, you can take a few simple steps to help us understand your qualifications.
Only send essential personal information and be sure to include your name and how to contact you in the resume. Include email, phone, and residence address. Do NOT include your gender, date of birth, age, family status, or personal identification numbers.
Education and work experience
Your resume should accurately reflect your academic achievements and accomplishments. Only report your university level education; do NOT include elementary or secondary schooling. However, if you completed a "year abroad" program as part of your pre-university education, feel free to include this in your resume.
We'll look closely at the work experience section of your resume, so the information you provide here is very important. List your experience and projects completed, accomplishments, etc. by your position with each employer. We also want to see concise, important details on your specific accomplishments and the impact your efforts had on your company.
If you worked while attending a university, either during the summer or concurrent with your course work, be sure to mention this even if it isn't specifically related to a potential job at Roche.
Additional Information
Be sure to mention any awards you've received, articles you've published, or conference presentations you've given.

Next, you may be invited for some on-site interview. Depending on the location and the position, you will have up to five of them. We value your time and if you need to travel, a maximum of two trips will be asked of you throughout the interview process.
An interview can be an perceived as exciting and sometime even stressful experience. If you feel nervous about an upcoming interview, it can be helpful to practice the interview situation – not only to train how to express yourself but also to become clear about your personal aims and ambitions.
The interview is the chance for both of us to find out whether Roche is the right choice for you. It’s as much your opportunity to learn about us as it is our opportunity to learn about you. Be authentic and truthful in your answers, and allow your interview partners to get to know you beyond of what is stated in your resume.
