Marketing at Roche - a challenging opportunity

Employees_in_conversation

Marketing at Roche means developing strong identities for world-class brands. We are a market leader in oncology, transplantation, and virology, and the world leader in in-vitro diagnostics. To keep a robust pipeline of brands for the future, we proactively develop relationships with strategic partners to complement our own world-class research. As we develop innovative products and solutions every day, we want to ensure that this progress is communicated as widely as possible. That's why marketing is a key strategic function at Roche. Your commitment, talent and creativity can help us make an even bigger impact here.

If you have a keen interest in marketing and have gained some basic practical experience, you’ll be happy to know that Roche has numerous internships and opportunities for thesis projects available to you. Our marketing sector awaits you with challenging and diversified tasks in areas including strategic marketing and planning or the development and maintenance of international branded products.

Our strategic marketing specialists cooperate closely with the development organisations in securing relevant business data and definitions for research and development teams. Students working on their theses may also gain deep insights from a variety of exciting research projects in lifecycle and brand management. Alternatively, you could be working on branded products in our pharmaceuticals division, in disease areas such as oncology, haematology and autoimmune diseases, anaemia, and conditions of the metabolic and central nervous system.

If diagnostics is more appealing to you, you will be involved in marketing products from the fields of Professional Services, Molecular Diagnostics, Applied Sciences and Diabetes Care. Other important marketing fields include strategic planning and forecasting, healthcare economics and pricing, and brand/PR communications and public policy.

Are you interested in gaining firsthand experience in one of these sectors, in support of your studies? Or perhaps even writing your thesis on a particular Roche-related subject? Have a look at the range of opportunities available to you.
