Job search

Use our online Job Search tool to find a job opening that matches your interests. You can search by functional area, job type, location, key word or Job ID in case you are looking for a specific job opening and know its reference number.

If your job search does not find an open position that matches your interests and experience, you can submit an unsolicited application. For this please register to our Roche Talent Pool. The registration steps are the same as when applying to a vacancy.

Applying at Roche

When you have identified a vacancy that is interesting for you, please apply online.

As a first you will be asked to sign in to our Roche Talent Pool is an internet-based talent management tool. This will allow you to log-in again later if you like to edit your profile or to apply to another position. After this there will be five steps to finish your application. In the first step you will be asked to upload your resume and your application letter. PDF, HTML, or Microsoft Word™ documents or text formats are acceptable or you can submit using plain text format. Any one file should not exceed the allocated limit of 850 kilobytes.

In step 2 you will be asked to state your contact details. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to give more information on your educational background and work experience. Now you will be prompted some vacancy specific questions.

As a final step you will get a summary of the information you have given. If you wish to modify the information, click "Edit" next to the relevant section. To hand in your application click “Submit”. Your application will be received by the recruiter responsible for the vacancy.

Once you apply for a job by submitting your resume, you will receive an automatic notification that your profile has been stored. You will then be contacted by the recruiting team who will inform you about the next steps.

Phone interview

You’ve applied for the position and your skills fit the job requirements. In many cases a phone interview will take place. The phone interview assesses your technical skills and proficiency, to the level of determining whether you should be invited for in-person interviews. Typically phone interviews are conducted by a recruiter and last about 30-40 minutes.

Onsite interview


Depending on the location and the position, you will have up to 5 interviews. We value your time and if you need to travel, a maximum of 2 trips will be asked from you throughout the interview process.


What happens next


Following your interviews, we will decide if you are suitable for the job opening. We take hiring very seriously and like to make consensus based decisions. To that end, it can take up to two weeks for us to make a definitive decision as to whether we'd like to have you join the team.
