I’m a Brand Manager and handle two brands in the Over-the-Counter business. These brands have been around for many years and have great heritage among their users. I manage agencies that help us with our advertising campaigns, consumer activation campaigns, and customer relationship management. I also work closely with our Trade Marketing Manager, who handles the team that deals with drug store owners, and our Associate Brand Manager who handles the team that promotes one of the brands to different doctor segments. The job is multi-dimensional and always challenging.

I am one of the Medical Managers of Roche Phils. In a nutshell, we are the “Science Behind the Brand”. In the past 7 months working here, I have developed medical plans for existing products as well as for products in the pipeline. I also give medical expertise and customer insights to the brand teams. I was able to design a local clinical trial for one of upcoming products. Most of the time, I give medical and regulatory clearance of promotional and informational materials. As part of my job, I develop and design medical materials for the KOLs, and engage in their activities. At the same time, I support pharmacovigilance activities such as coordination with drug safety on adverse event reporting.

I am a District Manager handling five product specialists promoting three products. I am responsible for setting the goals and achieving those targets through effective coaching and thorough monitoring of performance of the product specialists. I monitor the sales performance of the team, the call rate, target effectiveness and ensure that the targeted activities are well implemented. At the end of each month, I counter check the monthly expense report and other liquidations of the team. I also submit my own report to my sales manager.
