Postdoctoral opportunities

Roche invests in the training of doctoral and postdoctoral students in a number of fields if these students are keen to master their field and to apply and deepen their knowledge and skills in a specialist area. Roche thus offers opportunities for postdoctoral – or, in collaboration with a university, doctoral – students in various specialist areas.

Modern pharmaceutical research at Roche is exceptionally challenging, multidisciplinary and international. Thus the qualification profile for PhD scientists wishing to start a career in pharmaceutical research at Roche will ideally include a postdoctoral qualification obtained abroad. The aim of such a period abroad should be for the student to broaden and deepen their scientific experience and technical skills, to gain familiarity with new research problems and resolution strategies, and to further expand their contacts in the field.
