Marketing Pharma Strategic Marketing exists to provide global business strategic input and guidance to Pharma to achieve the business goals of the organization. Pharma Business works with many other groups in and beyond the Pharma Division and works closely with the Affiliate markets to recognize and meet global market needs.

Pharma Strategic Marketing works with the Pharma Development organization to ensure relevant commercial input and definition for the Research and Development Teams (RDT). It provides leadership for the LifeCycle Teams (LCT) that are responsible for developing and managing the Lifecycle of new products, and provides Product Support Teams to optimize the business return for mature products through to ultimate disinvestment. Pharma Business also contributes input into the business case for licensing decisions.
