Divisional Finance is responsible for the financial steering of the respective operating businesses (Pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics) and includes the following tasks:

• Leading the planning process (long-term business plans, short-term targets)
• Create competitive advantage by guiding the Division with timely and value adding financial support (develop and provide reporting systems and MIS tools)
• Monitoring of the financial performance and proposal of corrective Actions Financial
  
  input for major operating transactions (such as alliances, Mergers & Acquisitions, capital expenditures)

Through financial leadership, Divisional Finance aims to be a valued and recognised business partner, closely interacting with other divisional and corporate functions as well as the local companies. This results in a team and project-oriented working approach and requires a thorough understanding of the respective business processes.
