Direct entry into Development at Burgdorf: how it works
After completing your degree in Engineering you can start work for us as a Development Engineer if your qualifications match our requirements. You will be tasked with developing innovative, reliable, premium products for the improvement of the health and quality of life of our customers. To achieve this you will analyse the needs of our customers and work in interdisciplinary teams alongside internal and external service providers to create efficient and cost-effective solutions. You will be mentored by our technical experts and will get to know our standards and the various business and engineering processes we use. In addition, you will gain an appreciation of how a major multi-national company such as Roche operates. As you gain professional experience, you will assume more responsibility within larger projects in the areas of Development, as well as managing important maintenance tasks.
What qualifications should you have?
- A degree in engineering from a university, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), or University of Applied Sciences (FH)
- Good English and German language skills
- Project management experience is an advantage
- High awareness for quality
- Big-picture thinking
