The Position

  • Actively contributes/participates in Brand Team planning and implementation, as a core Brand Team member.
  • Generates information, insights and recommendations to support decision making by integrating primary and secondary research and analyses
  • Designs primary market research studies
  • Provides key assumptions to support short and long term sales forecasting on marketed products
  • Assesses brand performance by measuring and integrating business, strategic and implementation metrics/KPIs, including customer value/satisfaction.  Identifies and pro-actively communicates emerging issues and opportunities
  • Key point of contact for internal customers, partnering and coordinating with Business Analytics and other internal groups
  • Manages and coaches contract/intern staff in the implementation of specified objectives, where required.

An ideal candidate with the following skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong background (3-5) years in Market Research and/or Marketing in pharmaceuticals preferred.
  • Diabetes and/or cardiovascular experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and coach strategic thought leadership in others. 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data/information to generate insights and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence/persuade without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation).
  • Previous brand marketing experience and/or sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills
