The Position

  •  Manage, update and deliver product/disease curriculums, training and customer value initiatives for sales representatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Medical Managers and Product Managers to ensure the highest level of technical knowledge within the field force. 
  • Design, develop and deliver innovative training programs.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales management to support selling skills competency development with field force
  • Participate in the design, development and implementation of training programs and workshops for sales meetings. 
  • Utilize distance based learning initiatives to measure and maintain the level of technical expertise. 
  • Work closely with the Manager, Sales Training to utilize a comprehensive adult learning training methodology that includes needs analysis, training strategies and follow-up to continuously improve upon established processes.
  • Liaise with global and other affiliates to source resources
  • Provide coaching on selling skills. Product knowledge and relationship building.

    An ideal candidate with the following skills:

    • Oncology experience is a must.
    • 3- 5 years experience in pharmaceutical sales as a Hospital/Institutional Representative (minimum 2 yrs) required
    • Previous training experience or field coaching an asset
    • Virology and Transplant experience an asset
    • Demonstrated presentation, communication and project management skills are required
    • Strong scientific background is preferable, such as experience gained through Regulatory Affairs, Clinical or Drug Information
    • Proven high performer, results oriented, self manager, demonstrated strong interpersonal written and facilitation skills
    • Bilingualism (French/English) an asset
    • Knowledgeable in principles of adult learning
    • Bachelors Degree in Science, Business or Adult Education
