R&D offers a wide range of positions for scientists, engineers, and software developers. We are dedicated to the development of cutting-edge molecular diagnostic solutions for syndromic testing. Our work extends from applied research to regulatory product approval and we focus on developing advanced multiplex molecular assays and the instruments, consumables, and core technologies that power these innovations. Manufacturing
Roche Carlsbad manufacturing operations consist of multiple functions harmonized together to build critical molecular diagnostic products. It ranges from formulations of buffers and reagents to crucial subassembly products, to dispensing chemistries onto sensitive printed circuit boards and plastics before assembling into a final packaged consumable. Positions include manufacturing technicians, technical writers, manufacturing trainers, engineering, and maintenance support functions.

Quality
Quality and Regulatory teams are involved throughout the global diagnostic value chain, safeguarding our right to operate, shaping the global regulatory environment, and accelerating access to our diagnostic solutions for customers and patients. Facilities, SHE & Site Services
Site Services teams are critical for enabling sustainable operations. They provide various facility support functions, maintain systems that ensure a safe and healthy working environment for our people while minimizing impact to the environment, and ensure our campus is ready to accommodate future growth. Positions include safety professionals, environmental specialists, engineers, maintenance and service providers, and people leaders.

Business and Portfolio Strategy
Inclusive of strategic planning and marketing, business development, and project management, you’ll guide breakthrough products from concept to care, collaborating with internal and external global partners.
