Established in 2017, Roche Services & Solutions Americas provides our regional affiliates with a catalog of integrated, high-quality, harmonized services and solutions, bringing our business purpose to life across the globe, a testament to our collective efforts and global impact.
Roche Services & Solutions Americas is on a trajectory of rapid growth. We started with information technology services, which were swiftly followed by financial services a year later. In 2020, we further expanded our offerings with sophisticated Human Resources services.
In June 2024, we inaugurated our state-of-the-art Roche Costa Rica Campus, designed with a focus on environmental sustainability. The campus features a rainwater collection system, photovoltaic panels for converting solar energy into electricity, and a green roof that supports local biodiversity and reduces environmental impact. It also offers amenities for its collaborators, such as a wellness center, sports court, and innovative spaces.

People Support Solutions (PSS)
The People Support Solutions is a diverse global team which offers Roche employees world class HR advisory and solutions across all people-related expertise areas, including employee lifecycle management, payroll, time & benefits management, organizational management, learning management, leadership coaching, people strategy development and business advisory. Our teams work in an agile way within our integrated global networks providing a seamless end-to-end experience of service and collaboration. We enable the Roche business to focus on patients and do now what patients need next.
Global Infrastructure & Solution
Global Infrastructure & Solution (GIS) was created with a view to streamlining IT support and services to the business. In concrete terms, this means focusing on productivity for our existing services, while establishing new services quickly and flexibly. Staying at the forefront of technology means that we need to display speed, flexibility and ensure productivity. These are key attributes of the agility that makes Roche the company it is today. Global Customer Experience
The Global Customer Experience team is the One Stop Shop experience provider for Roche, providing support and consultation in IT, Finance and Procurement areas. Procurement
As Procurement Professionals, our ambition is to create value for the business by acting as the bridge between Roche and the suppliers. We understand the needs of unique stakeholders groups and tailor our strategies to help them achieve their goals, putting the patient at the forefront of everything we do. We are passionate about buying responsibility and protecting the integrity of Roche. We source goods and services that meet our high quality standards and are available when our stakeholders need them. This means we ensure business continuity with our customers and suppliers, and react quickly if changes come up.
Demand to Pay (D2P)
Undertaking our mission requires continuous purchasing of unthinkable amounts of goods and services. The Contract Management team provides contract record processing to ensure Roche colleagues worldwide are able to access relevant contracts in one system. The Order Processing team is responsible for approving and maintaining purchase orders. The Accounts Payable and Payment team processes invoices and ensures our suppliers are paid on time.
The Record to Report (R2R)
The Record to Report (R2R) department acts as a trusted advisor to finance and business units by providing accurate, timely and actionable financial information. We enable better decision making across departments with transparent financial data, which subsequently helps to bring new medicines and diagnostics solutions to patients in the most efficient manner. R2R is composed of 3 teams: Finance & Accounting, Treasury and Accounts Receivable.
Site Services Department
The SHE, Facility & Office Administration teams take charge of overseeing safety, security, health and environmental activities of the Costa Rica office as per the Group Directives and local regulations. Our success mainly lies in providing a secure, ergonomic, and environmentally friendly office for all our colleagues. Integrating people, place and process through Facility Management, which ensures a comfortable work environment for people and the productivity of the core business. It is equally important that we provide analytical and specialized administrative support to relieve senior leaders and staff managers of complex details and advanced administrative duties in co collaboration with our Office Administration.
