Roche Diagnostics’ competence centre for automation solutions, develops and produces innovative laboratory automation systems for the global market. These make a key contribution towards improving the quality of diagnostics services and making laboratory results available quickly and securely to both doctors and patients. They also have a positive effect when it comes to the protection of laboratory personnel.

Motivated by our guiding principle of “Doing now what patients need next”, our aim is to provide medical solutions now while at the same time working to develop innovations for tomorrow, to improve the health and everyday lives of patients.

Roche Diagnostics third-largest site in Germany, is located in the greater Stuttgart region, employing around 400 people from over 30 countries. While our engineering department is based in Kornwestheim, the production area is located in Remseck-Aldingen and the administrative headquarters of the company is in Ludwigsburg. In mid 2021, the current three locations will be gradually consolidated in Ludwigsburg.

Automation Engineering
