We believe that our talent should work in a world-class work environment – one where everyone can thrive and be proud and excited to work each day. That's why we invested more than $450 million to enhance our 172-acre central Indiana campus, where cutting-edge technology, flexible workspaces, spacious common areas and modern amenities combine to create an innovative, sustainable office space that enables people to do their best work.
Roche Indy also offers a Live Well program with services and resources to enhance employees’ physical, emotional and financial well-being, such as customized nutrition and fitness plans to help them thrive and balance their lives.

Environmental Sustainability

Roche has a global reputation and history of leading in the area of corporate sustainability. As an active member of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management’s Environmental Stewardship Program and Partners for Sustainability Program, our Indianapolis campus and employees have an equally strong record.

♦ The Indianapolis campus is powered by 100% renewable electricity.
♦ In 2023, Roche Diagnostics Indianapolis constructed their first CO2 Zero warehouse that operates with 100% renewable energy.
♦ The Indianapolis campus has a recycling rate of 66.5%, which is two times the U.S. national average.
♦ In 2023, 94% of the waste generated on the Indianapolis Campus was either recycled or incinerated with energy recovery.
♦ Campus landscape design includes native vegetation, bioswales, and rain gardens that have reduced the site’s water usage by 10,000,000 gallons/year.
♦ The Indianapolis site utilizes a central chiller plant that does not use ozone-depleting (halogenated hydrocarbon) refrigerants. The site has reduced their impact by replacing over 90% of the ozone depleting substances since 2006.
♦ Roche Fleet Administration has increased the number of battery electric vehicles in the Roche North America Fleet by 2% and the number of Plug-In Hybrid vehicles by 13% since 2022. This has resulted in a 10% reduction in CO2 emissions in 2023.
