The Roche Indy African American Business Resource Group’s (BRG) vision is to passionately empower all people to help break through barriers and to ensure that African Americans can thrive in a more inclusive environment. The BRG provides expertise and leadership on diversity and inclusion related matters, such as African American recruitment and retention while spreading culturally progressive ideas.
The mission of the Roche Indy Asian Business Resource Group (BRG) is to build awareness about Asian cultural diversity and to advance the Roche Asian population through talent acquisition, development and retention. This BRG is focused on building a strong community for Asian professionals both within Roche and in the local community with a focus on overcoming barriers that Asians face in reaching their full potential.
The Roche Indy Group of Latinos’ (GOL) mission is to become a trusted advisor that helps Roche Indy attract, advance and retain Latino talent to drive business results. The business resource group seeks to create and engage the Latino community network within Roche and to provide cultural awareness to address business needs.
The Roche Indy Pride Business Resource Group serves as a visible, accessible resource for LGBTQ employees and their allies, and provides LGBTQ-focused education, resources and engagement opportunities for the Roche community with a focus on creating a working environment where LGBTQ employees feel empowered and safe to bring their authentic selves to work.
The Indy Roche Young Professionals (RYP) Business Resource Group is focused on inspiring personal and professional growth for young professionals. This group brings awareness to the young professional community, while also helping to attract, advance and retain those individuals. It also helps to create an environment and culture that is inclusive of young professionals by fostering cross-generational collaboration and education.
The Roche Indy Veterans Business Resource Group (BRG) is committed to bringing together the community of veterans at Roche. It also exists to promote the understanding of military culture and service within the company. The Veterans BRG promotes partnerships with military stakeholders, and supports veterans with networking and education opportunities.
The Roche Indy Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) exists to attract, develop and advance the most talented women to ensure a strong pool of female leadership succession candidates. WLI offers women and men unique opportunities to connect, engage and learn from the best and brightest minds at Roche. Through this collaborative exchange of ideas, employees gain new perspectives and lasting effects on their leadership and career development.

The Roche Gives Back program is an employee giving initiative designed to help Roche employees creatively and collaboratively engage with each other and their communities. Through the program, employees can make donations to charities of their choice, track volunteer time, identify thousands of volunteer opportunities and request donation and volunteer matches. Roche matches charitable contributions 1:1 (up to $500 per year).
Through the Dollars for Doers program, employees may earn $10 per hour (up to an additional $500 per year) for volunteering outside of normal work hours. Highlights of Roche Gives Back include:
♦ Roche Indy has matched more than $2 million since the launch of the Roche Gives Back in 2013.
♦ In 2020, Roche Indy employees donated over $500,000 and tracked nearly 7,500 volunteer hours.
♦ Employees at Roche Indy donated to 893 different causes in 2020.
♦ In 2019 Roche Indy employees logged more than 1,200 volunteer hours with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful ♦ Roche Indy employees have planted more than 1,500 trees with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful since the first annual Roche Day of Service in 2010. ♦ Roche Indy has supported the United Way of Central Indiana’s ReadUP program at Brook Park for eight years, and employees have volunteered approximately 5,600 hours during that time.
