My name is Anna Maria, I am from Greece and I am currently finishing my Master in Pharmaceutical Analysis at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. A while ago I applied at Roche for the RiSM (Roche Internship in Synthetic Molecules) programme because I wanted to gain experience in working for a global pharmaceutical company: looking back, it was one of the best decisions I could have made. I am very happy to share my journey at Roche.
I started my career at the Analytical Research & Development department and from the very first days, I was feeling part of the team. Everyone was incredibly supportive and I immediately felt I could learn a lot from their expertise.
The project I am working on is an exciting topic regarding the prediction model for the selection of the best generic separation method for a sample prior to injection.
I was able to start working on it hands-on from the beginning and parallelly making the required trainings.

"At first, it was very challenging, but I am grateful for the experience and knowledge that I am gaining. I can see this internship as the beginning of my future career at Roche."
