My journey at Roche started in September 2010 when I was hired as a General Ledger and Management Accountant. I think it’s safe to say that back then, I did not really have a clear idea of what I wanted to be, so when the opportunity came to join the company I was just jumping into the unknown. This decision was probably one of the best ones I have ever made.
My name is Nikolett Vas. I was born and raised in Budapest, and I’m a manager in Audit and Compliance at Roche.
Throughout my more than a decade-long history with the company, I have been surrounded by a strong support system. I've always had leaders and colleagues who I could turn to, who were always there for me to encourage me to learn more, try
myself in other things and gain new experiences and knowledge. With this safety net behind my back, I have slowly started to move out of my comfort zone, which eventually brought the next career step my way as well.

"I had the opportunity to try myself in many areas, like actively participating in the
deployment of new services, self-testing, acting as a control owner, and also as a
people leader."
