While there may be challenging and tough times in my new role, I am blessed to have my manager and team members, who were always ready to give me their biggest support throughout the migration project journey. In the team, we are always ready to share our thoughts and opinions with each other in a constructive manner and brainstorm solutions to work through challenges together.
About a year ago, the finance team at Roche kick-started the “Finance Recognition Program” to commemorate Roche’s 10-year ambition to provide support and turn people’s ambitions into reality. I feel honoured to be a member of the committee team where we work together to promote long-term growth and establish a supportive culture among employees by giving them various opportunities for job rotations and employee recognition.
Just recently, I made a trip to Japan, given that they had just opened their borders to foreign travelers. During my stay in Japan, I took the chance to meet up and connect with local affiliates of Roche Diagnostics Japan. I was greeted with a warm welcome by the people there and they even extended their gratitude towards our contributions in support of their daily tasks and operations. The visit has brought so much meaning to me as I was able to reach out to them in person and connect with them, which has brightened up my outlook towards Roche knowing that we strive towards a similar goal despite originating from different backgrounds and cultures.
Working at Roche has granted me many opportunities to learn and grow, regardless of my gender, status, and background. Today, I am working as an Accounts Payable Senior Analyst and still actively contributing to other projects. I feel a great sense of job satisfaction and am proud to be a part of this company which promotes the growth and well-being of its employees and customers.
