Research & Development
Innovation is at the core of Roche’s R&D strategy. As a company active in both diagnostics and pharmaceuticals, we are pioneering the area of “personalized healthcare” at the interface between the two fields. The R&D organization has different levels of positions starting with scientists, engineers and project managers in several disciplines like analytical chemistry, biomedical, electrochemistry, mechanical and electrical engineering, human factors and physics.
Business
Our business group includes strategic planning and marketing, healthcare economics, project management, product communications and much more. You may find yourself collaborating with development departments while securing relevant business data and definitions for research and development teams. You will work closely with “lifecycle teams,” which are responsible for the development and care of new products for the duration of their respective lifecycles.
Types of positions include International Product Manager, International Business Leader, Project Managers, and Marketing Specialist.
Medical Affairs
The Medical Affairs team bridges research, clinical development, scientific publications, health outcomes, biostatistics, medical education and diverse other medical services to communicate the value and proper use of Roche products. Medical Affairs provide physicians, key opinion leaders, regulatory agencies, professional groups and healthcare professionals with medical and scientific information and education.
Types of positions include: medical research, health economics/outcomes, data management and biostatics, medical/scientific liaisons, medical communications and education.
Clinical Operations & Biometrics
As part of our clinical operations team, you’ll plan and implement clinical studies that meet specific scientific, medical, regulatory and commercial requirements from early development through post launch phases. The Biometrics team partners with Clinical Science, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations and other functions to generate strong research design, data analysis, and interpretation of results in support of product development and commercialization.
Types of positions include Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Trials Support Lab Scientist, Statistical Programmer, Data Management, Analysts.
Regulatory Affairs & Quality
Our regulatory professionals play a vital role in delivering safe and effective healthcare products to worldwide markets. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement regulatory strategies for global registrations as well as the ongoing maintenance and issue management of Roche products. Roche’s quality systems and processes are created to ensure that we have a competitive advantage and allow us to achieve a state of sustainable compliance that will lead to superior products.
