Together we develop diagnostic system solutions for clinics, laboratories and doctors’ offices. In addition to Roche Diagnostics International, the Swiss affiliates Roche Diagnostics (Switzerland) and Roche Diabetes Care (Switzerland) are also located at the site.

Manufacturing
Roche Diagnostics International in Rotkreuz is the country’s biggest manufacturer of fully automated in vitro diagnostics systems. 33 different diagnostic instruments and 4 laboratory automation systems are being manufactured in Rotkreuz. The portfolio covers a wide range from small table top to large size diagnostics systems, which can be used for various purposes. For instance in the current situation our devices contribute to the world-wide coronavirus testing. Our growing workforce in manufacturing currently represents around 700+ highly committed employees with a broad range of education, professions and expertise. Research & Development
Innovation is at the core of Roche’s R&D strategy. As a company active in both diagnostics and pharmaceuticals, we are pioneering the area of “personalized healthcare” at the interface between the two fields.
