Roche Pharma AG in Grenzach-Wyhlen has over 1,500 employees. The company is responsible for the marketing and distribution of prescription medications for the entire German market. It also coordinates all studies requiring approval for Germany and performs studies for products already on the market. In addition, the site is responsible for ensuring that Roche products are in compliance with all internal and external guidelines and laws for the entire European region. Grenzach-Wyhlen is also the location of the headquarters of Roche Deutschland Holding GmbH, the umbrella organization of the various German Roche companies. Its task is the strategic management and planning of business activities in the German markets.

Medical Affairs
Medical Affairs makes significant contributions to the development of our innovative drugs and designs strategies for optimized use in practice. We generate high-quality scientific data and communicate with healthcare stakeholders with integrity and transparency. Market Access
The Market Access team is passionate about finding ways to optimize and communicate the added value of our innovations and to shape the healthcare system in a sustainable way. We ensure that patients have access to our products and that Roche is reimbursed at a competitive price in order to develop further innovations. Marketing & Sales
In the Marketing & Sales departments everything revolves around the customer. This is why competencies are bundled, which are concerned with the development of product strategies and with their implementation. Our colleagues in Sales support doctors and patients through the complexity of the therapy landscape. They use their experience to jointly design overall concepts and make digital solutions and therapy approaches accessible to patients. The marketing team is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of national marketing campaigns. Patient Partnership
For the Patient Partnership Team, it is a major concern to help patients and their families to understand their diseases and to improve the way they deal with it. Roche offers patients and their families a comprehensive range of information - from brochures and information films to the regular information events organised by the various campaigns. This also includes regular communication with experts and representatives of patient self-help groups to ensure that those who are affected receive the best possible support. System Partnering
The groundbreaking innovations in the health sector require fundamental changes in the health system. To ensure that the new preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic solutions reach patients in the broadest possible care and without delay, we want to proactively shape the system and make it fit for the future.The System Partnering department at Roche organises and shapes Roche Pharma Ltd's external relations with politicians at federal and state level and with political stakeholders. At the same time, System Partnering ensures that the relevant tasks are crossfunctionally supported within Roche.
The Quality Team does its best every day to ensure that each patient always receives our medicines in the right quality. This includes the certification of marketed products for the national market and the release of all Roche investigational medicinal products to all EU countries. This is done in compliance according to the principles of GMP through efficient and effective processes and systems in the sense of a continuous improvement of quality and compliance.
