Roche Pharma AG in Grenzach-Wyhlen in southern Baden is responsible for the German pharmaceutical business with around 1,280 employees. This includes the approval and monitoring, marketing and distribution of Roche medicines in Germany as well as liaising with scientists, researchers and doctors in medical practices and hospitals. All authorisation-relevant studies for Germany are coordinated from here, as well as studies for already approved medicines. The site is also responsible for permanently checking whether products throughout Europe comply with internal and external quality guidelines. Grenzach-Wyhlen is also the headquarters of Roche Deutschland Holding GmbH - the umbrella organisation of the various German Roche companies. Its task is the strategic management and planning of business activities in the German markets.

Marketing & Sales

Patient Partnership
For the Patient Partnership Team, it is a major concern to help patients and their families to understand their diseases and to improve the way they deal with it. Roche offers patients and their families a comprehensive range of information - from brochures and information films to the regular information events organised by the various campaigns. This also includes regular communication with experts and representatives of patient self-help groups to ensure that those who are affected receive the best possible support. Quality
The Quality Team does its best every day to ensure that each patient always receives our medicines in the right quality. This includes the certification of marketed products for the national market and the release of all Roche investigational medicinal products to all EU countries. This is done in compliance according to the principles of GMP through efficient and effective processes and systems in the sense of a continuous improvement of quality and compliance.
