My work ensures that patients continue to receive access to life-changing therapies - Meet Cecilia

Here at Roche, I am given the opportunity to work with world-class talent to pursue my passion and belief – ensuring that patients receive the best benefit from their treatment.
Hi, my name is Cecilia and I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Pharmacy (Honours) from the National University of Singapore. Prior to joining Roche, I worked as a clinical pharmacist where I spent most of my time in anticoagulation and heart failure clinics. I find great fulfilment in helping patients and empowering them to make important clinical decisions. Medication safety is my key interest, and I believe safety information helps patients and healthcare professionals make the most informed medical decisions for the best treatment outcomes.
I work in the Singapore regional PV Hub as a pharmacovigilance (PV) specialist. My job requires me to partner with countries in the Asia-Pacific region to create a new, sustainable, agile and efficient implementation of excellence. Working in a regional role has broadened my PV experience through exposure to different countries’ regulations.
I usually start my day with a cup of tea, and my daily work involves the collection and review of safety information. This information needs to be considered from all sources in order to accumulate real-time data to generate meaningful trends. With good quality data, we enable better decision-making throughout the product lifecycle, and transform data into meaningful, predictive and actionable insights.
