My name is Maira Trauzettel and in my previous position I was teamlead at Patient Partnership in Grenzach. The Patient Partnership department has the task of continuously and sustainably introducing the patient's perspective into all relevant areas of the entire product life cycle. This department also works to help patients and their families understand a disease and to improve the way they deal with it.
Our impact
During my time as team leader in Patient Partnership, I have met many patients who have suffered blows of fate and shared their stories with me. I was able to learn so much from them, for example how strong people can be. At Roche I can help to improve patients' health and lives. This is what drives me.
How does this manifest itself in practice? We develop solutions together with patients and find out what helps them. We do this, for example, through creative workshops or through personal exchanges at patient events. We are also active in social media, where we receive direct feedback on our actions and campaigns from the community.

"At Roche, people are the focus of our work."
