Procurement Perspectives at Roche

This programme aims to

• Develop future Procurement leaders who demonstrate excellence in Procurement and leadership.

• Build a well-rounded understanding of Roche's business model and Procurement functions across the different areas of the business

• Expand Roche’s talent pool with individuals who bring global experience and a strong global mindset

For a rotational period of two years

• Participants will be involved in 4 assignments, each rotation being between 4 to 8 months long

• The assignments will cover different geographical locations of Roche’s business

• Each of these assignments will introduce participants to different areas within Procurement as well as the different divisions of Roche: Pharma, Diagnostics and Group

• Participants will have a senior leader assigned as a mentor to support their career development

During the programme

• Experience through assignments in Global Procurement, Diagnostics Direct Procurement, and Roche Services and Solutions at our headquarters and commercial affiliates in different countries.

• Receive mentorship from a senior leader and gain valuable exposure across all levels of Procurement. 

• Wide networking opportunities across the different functions in Procurement functions and beyond.

After the programme

• Global working experience and a cross-cultural mindset

• Broad understanding of Procurement functions and Senior Leadership

• Increased readiness for further roles within Procurement

We have a proven support structure in place to guide you throughout your journey. 

• Mentorship: Throughout the programme, each individual will be assigned a mentor to provide support with personal and professional development as well as long-term retention opportunities.
  
  

• Steering Committee: A Steering Committee consisting of Senior Leaders and Managers with key leadership roles across Procurement, will assist the Perspectives Participants in developing their talent at Roche. They provide direction for the long-term sustainability of the programme and oversee the participants' progress, and provide advice for opportunities.
