To ensure that patients and physicians can benefit from these factors, it is essential that healthcare professionals receive the correct information. Once a product is ready to be introduced to the market, our sales and marketing teams in the local affiliates together with global distribution departments take over, ensuring it reaches physicians and patients in time.

Meet Amruta
Amruta is born and raised in India, went to the United States for higher studies, and has been taking in the amazing international experiences since then! Before joining Roche, she worked in the medical device industry and then in the private equity and operations consulting environment in the USA. While earning her degrees from Duke University and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business she became aware of the vast opportunities available in global settings and decided to venture out beyond her comfort zone.

Meet Maud
Maud was brought up in the city of Versailles on the outskirts of Paris. She have been living in Switzerland for a few years now. Her background is signal processing; after a Master in petroleum engineering in Nancy and Edinburgh, she decided to apply her signal processing skills to finding diseases in medical images instead of finding petroleum in geological models of reservoirs. She studied computer-aided diagnostics of breast cancer in x-rays mammograms at Oxford University. She then worked as a software engineer in a London start-up developing markerless radiotherapy positioning systems. She moved from London to Zurich, and also from the world of in vivo to in vitro diagnostics, as the job was at … Roche Diagnostics.

Meet Amanda
Amanda was born in Rome from Italian and Canadian parents. As a child she was encouraged to become a “citizen of the world”. In 2010 she completed her Master’s degree in International Business. One day in 2013 she received a call from a Swiss company for a Marketing Manager position focused on French speaking Africa. She was more than excited to start this new adventure in Switzerland and three months later she moved to Basel! Three years down the line she successfully interviewed with Roche and made the decision to move again in order to pursue a career as an International Product Manager (IPM) at Roche Diagnostics.
